Jessica moved to Des Moines for a job opportunity after being raised in Chicago suburbia and attending college in Missouri. She fell in love with the metro, met her husband, Lucas, at a hockey game and married him at SOTV in 2012. God called them to become foster/adoptive parents, and they now have three forever children. She has a heart for strengthening families and has been involved in various SOTV ministries over the years. Jessica enjoys opening their home to family and friends, traveling, playing sports and spending time at the lake. She joined the staff part-time in September 2025.
