Our 8 a.m. traditional worship service includes liturgical traditions and hymns blended with some familiar southern gospel favorites.

Join the adults in our congregation for weekly Bible study and fellowship.

Our 10:30 a.m. contemporary worship service is led by our full-band praise team. This service includes a children’s message and popular worship songs. We have a staffed nursery available for children.

We invite you to join us for our midweek Advent series “Adore the King”. Each Wednesday during the season of Advent we will worship together in a time of preparation, anticipation, and expectation of Christmas. Each week we will feature a different musical group to share the message of the season through song. There will be no midweek children’s programming during the Advent series, but we hope you take this opportunity to worship together as a family each week and support our groups who have been hard at work preparing special musical offerings for us to enjoy.

Celebrate the birth of the Savior of the world! We invite you to join us at our Christmas Eve worship service at 3 p.m. Due to construction currently underway at our church building, we will meet off-site at the Valley High School auditorium (3650 Woodland Ave, West Des Moines, IA).

Join us for a special service combining out usual 8 a.m. traditional and 10:30 a.m. contemporary services into one for the holiday weekend. There will be communion at this service.

Prepare your hearts and minds for the upcoming new year during our New Year’s Eve worship with communion.

SOTV Kids is our mid-week programming for younger students. Children will gather for kid-friendly worship during which they will hear Bible stories, play games, sing songs and build relationships with new friends. This program is for children in preschool- 5th grade. SOTV Kids meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 7:45 p.m. Nursery care is available for children under age 3.

Our junior high youth group meets on Wednesday nights for devotions, Bible study and games to build their faith and friendships in a less structured environment than their Sunday morning classes. All youth in grades 6 – 8 are welcome. They do not have to be enrolled in the Confirmation program to attend Wednesday nights. Junior high youth group meets Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 7:45 p.m.
