JuBELLation is the adult handbell choir at SOTV. This group performs a variety of music, ranging from traditional hymns to contemporary praise songs. The group generally performs once a month during both 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. worship services, September through May. JuBELLation also performs at outreach events in the community, usually around Christmastime. Practices are held Thursday evenings from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. with an optional Bible study immediately following. There are no requirements to participate in JuBELLation – ability to read music is desirable, but not required

We believe that kids’ lives will be transformed when they spend time in God’s Word and with His family. On Sunday mornings, we explore God’s Word, we play together, we talk together. We learn what it means to follow Jesus together. All classes meet on Sunday mornings from 9:15 – 10:15 a.m.

Children 0 – 2 years old meet in the nursery and are introduced to the basic stories of the Bible through song, stories and play.

Children in preschool – 1st grade gather for songs, interactive Bible stories and play as they discover how much God loves them.

Students in 2nd – 6th grade will explore God’s Word, play games, sing and learn what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.

Our 10:30 a.m. contemporary worship service is led by our full-band praise team. This service includes a children’s message and popular worship songs. We have a staffed nursery available for children.

Senior Pastor John David leads this Bible study geared towards empty nesters Tuesday mornings at 9 a.m. in Room 19. Stay for an optional time of fellowship activities and light refreshments afterwards.

The OurTime ministry provides Christ-centered activities addressing the spiritual, social, physical and educational needs of men and women in the “second half of life.” This segment of our church family includes empty nesters, retirees, grandparents, divorcees and widows/widowers — all of whom desire fellowship with others and to be productive servants of Christ.
